Our Story

It's all too easy to lose touch with the people we love. Hugewick Playful Candles bring the loving, relaxing touch of massage and the playfulness of warm wax together, creating a moment of closeness you'll both remember.

The founder

Born in the spa world

Hugewick was created by Michael Jordan, a global spa consultant, 20-year multi-location spa owner, and international massage and skincare educator, aromatologist and Ayurveda instructor.

He kept hearing his clients talk about missing the touch connection with their partner at home, and how massage helped them relax and refocus on each other. So he turned his expertise into a one-of-a-kind playful massage candle that clients can take home and share.

The co-founder

Built with care

Joining Michael is his brother, Tim Jordan. The two share a deep passion for massage, and Tim brings years of experience as an educator and lifestyle expert after more than eight years living in Japan.

Like his brother, Tim is a Navy veteran. He leads community outreach, events and manufacturing, making sure every Hugewick product is made to the same high standard.

Flameless Drip Waxxx

No flame needed. Warm the resealable pouch in the microwave, pour the colorful, scented waxxx, and enjoy. Reusable, too.

Why we look the way we do

We designed Hugewick with bright colors and playful imagery reminiscent of the 1950s and '60s. The feeling is lighthearted and cheerful, so customers feel safely adventurous picking one up.
